The word "Plaka" was the name of the original Greek marketplace. Plaka Inc. has been serving consumers as the retail store for the Clifton Steamboat Museum which is located in Beaumont, Texas. Plaka became the storefront for the Museum in 1995 shortly after the museum became the areas largest and most diverse complex. Since then we have provided the people of Southeast Texas with high quality artwork that has come to distinguish us from the rest of the local dealers. Our staff strives for customer satisfaction and is constantly looking for ways to improve our client’s experience.
What we offer.
At Plaka Inc. we offer a variety of limited edition and antique art. We are also proud to offer two books, "Antarctica's First Lady" and "The Texas Navy." We hope you enjoy all the products we currently offer for years to come. We only have a limited stock of our current artwork available, so make sure to get one of our pieces before they are all gone.
All our merchandise is meticulously preserved and handled to insure the pieces are delivered to your doorstep exactly as described. We are currently offering shipping via USPS or UPS depending on the item. If you have any preference when shipping please contact us at the time of purchase.
